2) What might a French peasant have grumbled about in 1789?
Answer: The peasants would have grumble about not having their rights. Having to do eveyrthing the higher class said.

3) Look at source A. Explain what point you think the cartoonist was making. Remember
to explain the significance of the three characters, as well as the caption underneath.
Answer: I think the point to the cartoonist was making is that the peasant are lower class people they get no respect from the above people. Also that the peasants are treated just like animals as you can see in the picture the peasants are treated like horses. The quote ‘One hopes this will end soon’ means that the peasants have hopes that this torture and abusment to them will end really soon.

4) How does the author of source B describe the lives of French peasants? (remember: it
is not enough to say ‘good’ or ‘bad’ – you need to give examples from the source!)
Answer: He describes is as a bad life. They had to pay 20kg of wheat and three chickens as feudal dues to one lord and 60kg of oats one chicken, they also had to pay heavy taxes. They had a big responsibility in paying everything.

France resented the rich? Explain your answer using the sources.

6) Rousseau (source D) was an influential writer at this time. Along with other writers
like Voltaire, he wanted France to have a more democratic form of government. Who
would be most influenced by his words and why? (remember to include extracts form
the source in your answer.)
Answer: The peasants will be more influenced to this words because they had no freedom right. Of course they wanted to be treated as human and have equal rights as the upper class people.

7) The pamphlet which source D came from was banned in 1775. Why do you think this
was? Which members of French society would want it to be banned
Answer: The people that banned this in 1775 were the king the nobles because if they haven;t this meant they would have to work and pay there taxes and do things as the peasants do.

John Locke he Enlightenment

John Locke Enlightenment was the first was probably the most famous thinker. John Locke created the modern of democracy,He argued that government and authority were based on Natural law. Also that all man are equal. His ideas influenced mostly on Thomas jefferson when he wrote the U.S. Constitution. In the declaration of independence Jefferson states that all mens are created equal and they should have the same rights , life liberty and pursuit of happiness. They also had the rights to despotism the right Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

The government gets its power from the people. The people decide who is going to be government, the people have to approve it. The people have the right to vote to decide who is going to be the new president or leader. This is the kind of power the government has.

The heliocentric theory states that the sun is at the center of the solar system. The word heliocentric means sun and center developed by the Greeks. It was in the 16 century that astronomer Copernicus a mathematician presented a mathematical of the heliocentric system and how it worked. Galileo as way as Kepler believe in the heliocentric and supported it with his evidence.

However, the geocentric theory stated that the earth in in the center of the universe and the rest of the planets surround it . Both Aristotle and Ptolemy supported the geocentric theory, but not only them also some philosophers they call it the naked eye planet. To support this theory they had some observations. First believe and assumed that the sun and the stars revolved around the earth as it was seemed. Second that the earth was solid which means that for now is resting and not moving around.

Galileo was born in 1564 around teh same time that ShakesSpears. Then when he started to go to the University of Padua he started to get a intrested or a believe in the Copernican theory. The Copernican theory said that the sun was in the center of teh universe and that earth roated around the sun or a axis in one year it went around. Galileo started to teach the theory , however the Catholic church was not to happy about this. For this reason they arrested Galileo and this was the end of his life. He was also put on the Index of Prohibited Books, together with the books by Copernicus and Kepler treating of the heliocentric system. HE died in Michelangelo and he was executed.

Scientific Revolution:The scientific Method

Most of scholars ideas about science, came from the bible, and if no the ancient Greek Roman. The bible and the ancient Greek Roman though alike. For example, the Greek and Christianity believe that the earth was in the center of the universe, which means that the rest of the planet including the sun surrounded the earth. However, this theory turned out wrong according to the scientific revolution and was proven too. Another example, Aristole had a theory that the more the weight iin an object the faster it falls to meet land and the lighter that its weight the less faster it will land. On the other hand this theory didn't turn out true, Galileo proved it wrong by experimenting his own experiment, he started to get blocks with different weight and throwing it out the window and he conclude that they all fell down teh same speed, this is when the scientific method started.

The scientific method is a scientific prediction to anything. For example, in the scientific method you need a hypothesis, which is a guess or what you predict will happen. Then in order to support you hypothesis you need an slove your experiment or by any further observations. Also you will have to repeat your steps to have a better conclusion to your hypothesis.

Evolution vs. Creation

Question
*Read the following links about the two theories of evolution and creation. Explain, in your own words, each of the two theories. Then; explain which one you believe in and why.

The Darwin's theory if evelotion it talks about came from ape and slowly developed more human. Their belief are that we came from ancestors, for example that we are related to the banannas, flowers, fishes and birds. Another belief is how mutation are passed by. Charles Darwin was the founder of this theory and he also brought what is known as the natural selections,a mutuation and a inheritate gene, for example, if a human or a species had three eyes the next offspring will have it too. This is more of natural theory.

The Creation theory states we were created by God as well as the world. This theory is more of a religion belief and it talks about the Abrahamic God of Judaism, Christianity. The majority of people belive in creation because it moake more sense and has to do with our religion belief. They believe that God was the first one to create eve and adam and by them we were born, the whole family tree started wiff eve and adams. The creation theory was more in powere by then.

I agree with the creation theory because it makes more sense and i believe that we were made by God and all his creation( world)!I think the evolution theory sounds more of a scientific fiction, because how would we come from ape and develope to now what we are that means that all monkey should be humans. I think it isn't possible not at all monkey could have some of our things but it still would not make sense. This is my opinion and my point of view.
